Salvadori Center - Education and the Built Environment See It • Build It • Know It

"There is no doubt among educators that, once everything is said and done, the entire educational system revolves around one pivot: the teacher....Hence, the continuing education of the teacher remains one of the most important issues in modern education."

Founder Mario Salvadori (1907-1997)

In the spirit and practice of Mario Salvadori's educational beliefs, Salvadori Center teaches teachers to incorporate built environment concepts into all subject areas of the curriculum: mathematics, science, social studies, art, and language arts. The Center provides mentoring and professional development for teachers, and its innovative programs teach students how to solve problems, think critically, and broaden their vision of themselves and the world.
